Rhine-Neckar Centre
Project information

After a short construction period, the photovoltaic system on the roof of the Rhein-Neckar-Zentrum in Viernheim, Hesse, was put into operation in April 2024. It is one of numerous projects that Frankfurt Energy Holding is carrying out on behalf of ECE Marketplaces - the operator of 200 shopping centres in Germany and Europe. We are equipping a total of 24 ECE centres in Germany and Denmark with photovoltaic systems. For the Rhine-Neckar Centre, 1,726 solar modules with a total power output of 742 kWp were installed. The green electricity is fed directly into the shopping centre's power grid and supplies the common areas.
